My mom and I went to the Country Living Fair here in Columbus this weekend....it was awesome! I only bought a few things, but I bought the cutest things there :) Oilcloth Bunting: which I already hung up in the kitchen Sorry the pic is dark. The colors match the apartment perfectly. Sorry for the absence......I have been busy moving! We are settled in, but still have lots to do. The downstairs is mostly done, except for hanging some pics. The upstairs is another story. We still need a dresser and bookcase! Nate brought home flowers :) We made dinner last night: crunchy baked chicken, baked potatoes, green bean casserole, and pots de creme!!!! This morning we walked to DK Diner. It's just down the street on 3rd Ave. I had heard about this place from a few co-workers. Supposedly they have the best doughnuts. I will be the judge of that :) Well, the doughnuts are AWESOME! The seasonal doughnut they have right now is pumpkin cake with cinnamon and sugar topping....sooooo good. We tried a few others as well, and they were just as good! I think this is going to be dangerous! -*Miss Emma*

Hello- I had an exciting day. I started my new babysitting job. Baby L is soooo cute, even though she did spit up on me a lot! And......I am starting as Assistant Site Director at CH tomorrow!!!! This is the job I had been hoping for :) More money and more responsibility. I think it will be a nice change for me. I will be busy babysitting every day and working at CAS. Good news, I got some painting done this weekend....it was a little bit of a disaster, but turned out good! Just need to spray a final coat on the black furniture. 8 days until we get the keys! -*Miss Emma*

Hello- I am trying to keep my eyes open as I write this post. I stayed with J&C this weekend while their parents went on a little getaway! 26 hours was enough for me :) Luckily, I had help! Thanks Nate and Sarah! This morning we ventured to the zoo.....it was fun for a little bit. I wish we could have visited the polar bears longer, but there were too many people and J wasn't that interested. Thanks goodness the zoo has awesome playgrounds!! So, enough fun for the weekend, I have painting to do. Moving day is fast approaching and I have tons to do.  A little bit of sewing and lots of painting and packing. I hope the weather stays cool tomorrow for sanding/painting. I am enjoying wearing jeans. Thanks mom for the new table in the craft room. You probably already know that I am a loyal Target fanatic. Well, yesterday I ventured to Wal Mart to buy snacks for care after. Of course, I had to stop at Starbucks first because Wal Mart doesn't have one in the store like most Target's do. Target-1 Wal Mart-0 Mocha in hand I set out to the Mart. But I got lost. Made one wrong turn and ended up 5 minutes away from Wal Mart....bad location. Target-2 Wal Mart-0 I began shopping for snacks, but of course got off track when I spotted the Miley Cyrus clothing line. Well, it wasn't as great as I had hoped, so off I went to the food aisles. The coolest thing about Wal Mart is that on the price stickers on the shelves they list the unit price along with the package price. So, since I was buying for care after (looking for cheap items that we could make money selling *for charity...) this was a big help. I didn't even have to do any mental math!!
